Why Life is good®?
We fell in love with Life is good® products and their message of optimism. We felt that Burlington, Vermont was a perfect match for a Life is good® shop. Many people questioned our decision to open a store in the midst of a recession, but we thought it was more important than ever to spread good vibes. As we worked toward opening our store, John’s father was diagnosed with stomach cancer. It would have been easy to give up on our dream and wonder, “Why is life good?” Yet we felt even more passionate about persevering with our plan and continuing to see the glass as half full.

Why Burlington?
Burlington sits on the shores of Lake Champlain, nestled between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks of New York. This vibrant, gem of a city prides itself on its independent roots (think Bernie Sanders), its funky vibe (the birthplace of Phish) and its amazing recreational opportunities. Burlington is a city that is truly powered by optimism.

Why visit?
Happy Trails occupies a prime spot on Burlington’s celebrated pedestrian mall, the Church Street Marketplace. Sit in our window and just chill as street musicians serenade you, and magicians, acrobats and dancers amaze you. You’ll be immersed in the jubilant hum that is the Church Street Marketplace, where every day is a festival.
